Game of Thrones Where do I begin? Let’s just first say that this show has already wasted three hours of my life—and counting (why am i still watching?!) Hold on, lemme google this real quick. Because, seriously, am I really the only one with these feels right now? this evidence is compelling indeed My life has never had such an abrupt interruption. I was on such a roll too with my productivity, side projects and work and then THIS comes along—well since 2011 apparently—but I’ve gone six years without watching this show already, why now you might ask? Well, it’s kinda hard to ignore when I’m constantly seeing it on all my favorite websites. ALL THE TIME. HuffPust The Verge IMDB Polygon IGN Now having just entered its seventh season, promotions for the show have been ramping up, reviews and commentaries are everywhere, the displays at GEO and many other DVD rental stores have GOT posters all over (and yes, I said DVD. and rental. and store. in the same sentence. it’s still a thing in Japan). The human mind can only take so much of what was once subliminal messaging. Curiosity finally caved in. I downloaded and watched the first episode of the first season to see what all the fuss is about. Then the second episode. And the then third. And now here I am. This is extremely problematic because now I have to recalculate my entire schedule so that I can fit this in and depending on how much time allow for binging each day, I’ll have to adjust and plan accordingly. But due to the very nature of the show, we never know what we’re gonna get at the end of every episode do we? The writers of GOT clearly understand that curiosity is a b*tch—pardon my French. If only you were aware of how many hours are left in the series before I get all up to speed, you would know this vexing frustration. (it’s 60+ hours) Like this:Like Loading...
